Documenting the Co-Ed Killer case

“She’s very much the reason I surrendered.”

“I didn’t go hog-wild and totally limp. What I’m saying is, I found myself doing things in an attempt to make things fit together inside. I was doing sexual probings and things, I mean, in a sense of striking out, or reaching out and grabbing, and pulling to me. But appalled at the sense that it wasn’t working, that isn’t the way it’s supposed to be, that isn’t the way I want it. You see what I’m saying? And yet I get, during that time, I become engaged to someone who is young, and is beautiful, and very much the same advantages, and very much the same upbringing, and Disneyland values. And, uh, she’s very much the reason I surrendered.”

It’s interesting that he said she was the reason he surrendered. Didn’t his mom make him break off the engagement years before? I thought his mom pressured him into breaking up with her because she was so young and she thought it was “disgusting”. Could he have still been in love with her while he committed the murders? Or do you think he was lying when he said she’s the reason he gave himself up?

I feel that Kemper is somewhat unreliable in his statements, as he has often changed them through the years. I don’t believe she is the reason he gave himself up. I think that when he got to Colorado, he was out of money and options. He was eventually going to get caught. He avoided further damage by surrendering.

So you’ll post info on people who want to remain anonymous like a failed gossip rag you are

But you won’t allow criticism of it

This post is an interview with Kemper talking about his fiancee… What’s the problem? Good luck resolving your issues, Mrs One, or whoever you are.

lol. you keep doing you, EKS. I have found this site very informative without being salacious. When you’re dealing with true crime you have to expect a certain amount of umm… unpleasant? yes. Unpleasant subject matter. 🙂 And you didn’t out her by name – I believe the internet has made it so much easier to track people down. With as little info given by Ed himself (Turlock), the time, and high school records available will provide the rest.

The truth of the matter is that people will naturally seek out the pieces that are missing. For me, I was interested in hearing more from his sisters. And I always wanted to know more about his father. Ed makes it seem that it was all his mother’s fault that he left and didn’t see him anymore, but surely there’s more to it than that. Just like I would’ve liked to know more about Ted’s grandfather. I would’ve LOVED it if he had given an interview before dying, but Ted was very protective (afraid ?) of him.
