Any idea where I could find these to listen to? Thank you.

Unfortunately, they are not available anywhere. There were rumours that the California Medical Facility was going to digitize the tapes, but nothing has come out so far.

Is there any plan to release Mr. Kempers’ tapes to the public?

    • Edmund Kemper Stories

Not that we are aware of.

Yes, it’s the only book excerpt that can be found on the internet.

Not true at all, by far. There are however no complete readings that have to my knowledge been released as of now. I believe however he has asked that upon his death that they are allowed to be. Proceeds will be distributed as he wanted them to be, I however have no information as to where the proceeds will be disbursed to.

Do you have any proof of what you are saying? I highly doubt Kemper has any say in what will happen with the recordings. He has no rights on them. They are owned by Vacaville. Where can we find these recordings?

Are you people crazy ? Why in the world would you want a serial killer read to you? That’s creepy and bizarre

I think it’s partly because of how well he speaks. Seriously, the man has a great narration voice, and if I knew for sure he wouldn’t get any benefit from it, I’d purchase some of the stuff he’s done. 🤷‍♀️
