New information came out this week on the This is Ed Kemper website providing more details about the project.
They revealed this new photo of Kemper taken during an interview at the California Medical Facility in 2020.
The project is titled Ed Kemper and is a limited series detailing the life and crimes of the serial killer Edmund Emil Kemper III.
Based on hundreds of hours of new, in-person interviews conducted in prison, the story intertwines Kemper’s life with his crimes in Santa Cruz in the early 1970s.
It includes insights and information he has never shared in the nearly 50 years since his arrest.
As members of law enforcement have said, “We always felt there was something Kemper wasn’t telling us.”
Oh wow! I am really looking forward to seeing what else he has to say. I never dreamed he would do more interviews.

Ed Kemper is an interesting person due to his high IQ. I have seen documentaries, etc. about him. Were his murders because of how he felt about his mother? However, necropolis seems outside this argument. Curious to hear from him this many years later.
Hopefully this 2020 interview will be released one day, as the website is now down.

Not that I know of. I was never able to establish contact with the people who had the website.
Who has been conducting the interviews behind the scenes since 2020? The link to the site goes nowhere, so if they had a falling out or pulled the plug on things, it would be nice if they would let us know. It’s really weird because their post was not even that long ago. I wonder what happened from then to now. I sort of wish the media and all the “fans” the Netflix show generated would just back off so that there might be a prayer of him answering any of his mail to those of us who have followed Ed’s story since the beginning or at least pre internet. He has become so popular since Youtube and Netflix and that book about Santa Cruz being the murder capital of the world being released, and other specials various some of the bigger cable channels have done in recent years. I just want him to live his last days in peace. I bet Ed just told them to take a hike. Once he decided he had no one’s butt to kiss ever again to try to get out, these interviews don’t do a thing for him. I do wish we could all take a big field trip to get to pay him a visit but until then, hopefully he is being good and not grabbing anymore caregiver’s butts lol He is so funny.
